Off-topic but just wanted to say thanks for recommending Flipside. Liking it so far though I’m still trying to figure out if Bern and Maytag are supposed to be star crossed lovers or if they’re really right for each other. I’m not that far into it but it does seem that they are polar opposites in a lot of ways that shouldn’t fit together in a relationship but at the same time they actually do make a good couple in an odd way.
I’ve been following Flipside for a long time now and those two are not easy to figure out. The story plays around it a lot, but hasn’t managed to get much further than teasing the issue. Personally, I think they’re really great together because they’ve communicated their differences to the point of acceptance. They may still falter sometime soon, but I’m sure they won’t break apart permanently.
Perhaps but I get the feeling he’s not really interested in Greta. It could be just professionalism as they are fighting the super heroes but he treats her coldly and professionally. At the very least she seems to have more personal attachment with him than he does with her.
So…wait…are they like on some kind of beach side vacation. This is actually a pretty sad picture if you think about it because (if you consider being a super villain a job) usually you would go to your family for vacation which means that either the Greta and Capt. U’s families are either dead or missing and all they have left is each other…”sniff”…so sad!
Side note: That might not be Greta her breasts are smaller in this picture.
Also: in case you couldn’t read Krow’s (or whoever drew this) semi-sloppy handywriting we ladies and gentlemen just got a sneak preview at chapter 11 huzzah!
